    Create your core email templates

    Take what you’ve learned about the drag-and-drop editor and apply the knowledge in your own account.

    Build a template for each content pillar

    We’ve learned how to think about your content strategy, explored the email editor, and viewed other product catalog functionality that’s available in Klaviyo. Now, it’s time to put it all together. Log into your own Klaviyo account and start building templates to use for each of your content pillars. If you’ve already sent a lot of campaigns through Klaviyo, look back at your old campaigns and see which email messages performed the best.

    Tip: Consider cloning a high-performing campaign that you've previously sent and saving that layout as a template.     Let Klaviyo’s Email AI do the work for you

    Need help getting started? Klaviyo’s Email AI accepts plain-text prompts and builds complete section layouts for you. For instance, if you typed in "Spring sale campaign with pink rose bushes 10% off," it will populate a layout with your content built and ready for your review.

    With it, you can:

    • Quickly generate layouts that include text, images, buttons, dividers, and columns.
    • Edit and finalize AI-generated content to match your brand and goals.

    Use Klaviyo’s brand voice settings to make sure AI-generated content matches your brand’s style and tone. You can set voice descriptor titles (like playful, formal, or opinionated), add detailed descriptions with keywords and examples, and define writing rules for things like emoji use, punctuation, or sentence length, all with clear instructions on when and how to apply them. Klaviyo will automatically generate these for you, and you can customize them as needed.

    Once set, your brand voice guidelines automatically apply to all email drafts created by Email AI, helping you move faster without sacrificing consistency or quality.
